Engine Sales and Installation: Ensuring a Seamless Repower with Rex Marine

At Rex Marine, we can sell you an engine no matter where you store your boat. However, for any engine that is not tiller-controlled, a dealer installation is required to ensure optimal performance and safety. Our certified Rex Marine technicians will inspect your boat to confirm it’s a suitable candidate for a repower and create a detailed, accurate proposal. While we can start the process with detailed photos, an in-person inspection is often necessary to assess critical aspects like transom and hull integrity, which photos might not fully capture.

For smaller ‘portable’ engines (25 HP and under), while we recommend having Rex perform the mandatory pre-delivery checklist as an authorized dealer, we understand some customers may prefer to handle this themselves. If you’re comfortable completing the required PDI checklist, we are authorized to ship these ‘portable’ engines directly to you.
