Playland

Catch all the action at Rye Playland! From exciting rides and attractions to great seaside restaurants and fireworks, this is a fun hotspot destination. Depending on your choice of vessel, you could be here in as little as 60 minutes! Make sure you take in the sights and sounds of the Tiki Bar at The Pier Restaurant while you are here, take the kids inside one the areas oldest and closest amusement parks for a day they will never forget. Bring your bathing suits and relax on the two expansive boardwalk beaches built in the early 1900’s.

Entrance to the restaurant area is free to those arriving by Boat! Park fees range from $10 to $30 for a day long pass. The Pier Restaurants menu is extensive and moderately priced for a seaside establishment.

The Norwalk Islands

Discovered in the early 1600’s by Adrian Block, the Norwalk Harbor and her beautiful Islands have long been considered “The Jewel” of Long Island Sound. Take a relaxing cruise around the many islands, view the magnificent seaside mansions that dot the shoreline and learn about the early history of the area that helped to shape not only New England’s early Oyster Fisheries but the countries as well.
